Whether you print at home or use a local print shop, here's everything you need to get a great result.
📌 Note for 6th Edition Owners Your file includes both the checklist pages (portrait orientation) and the calendar pages (landscape orientation) all in one file. When printing, your printer or PDF viewer should handle the orientation automatically — just make sure "Auto portrait/landscape" or "Auto-rotate" is enabled in your print settings, and print all pages.
Printing at Home
Paper For best results, we recommend premium paper like this* — but regular copy paper works too. *Affiliate link
Recommended Print Settings
- Color: Full Color
- Pages to Print: All Pages
- Page Sizing & Handling: Actual Size (or "Fit" if any edges are cutting off)
- Sides: Double-sided, flip on long edge
- Orientation: Landscape (6th edition owners: enable Auto-rotate or Auto portrait/landscape)
- Print Quality: Best
Recommended Binding
- Spiral Binding: Take your printed pages to a local office or print store and request spiral binding — it's usually around $3. Ask if they can also do a single small hole punch at the opposite end so you can attach a ring binder and hang it in your closet.
- DIY Binding: Use a three-hole punch along the top of the calendar. Thread ring binders through each hole to bind the pages. For hanging, punch a single hole on the opposite side and add one more ring binder to hang from a hanger or hook.
Printing at an Office Store or Print Shop
Before you go:
- If your print shop asks about copyright, you can request a print release form here.
- It helps to show your printer an image of our professionally printed calendar so they know what the finished result should look like.
What to request:
- Full color
- Double-sided printing, flip on long edge
- Cardstock for the first and last sheets (for sturdier covers)
- Spiral binding on long edge (usually around $3)
